How to test whether it's working
After 30 days, run this experiment yourself:
- Open ChatGPT in an incognito window (so it doesn't use your account history).
- Ask: "I'm looking for [your specialty] in [your city], can you recommend a few?"
- See if your business is in the recommendations.
If yes — you've cracked it. Keep doing what you're doing. If no — look at the businesses ChatGPT did recommend. What signals do they have that you're still missing? Adjust.
Run this test once a month, every month, forever.
