Terms & Conditions — Local AI Toolbelt

1. Who you're contracting with

These Terms govern your use of Local AI Toolbelt (the "Service"), operated by Laura Cruz ("Local AI Toolbelt", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you are using the Service as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The Service

Local AI Toolbelt provides AI-assisted marketing tools for local businesses, including a Google Business Profile post generator, photo SEO renamer, review-to-content generator, QR code and vCard utilities, and related learning resources.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not:

use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose;
send spam, harass others, or impersonate any person or business you do not represent;
infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
upload malware or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
probe, scan, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls; or
reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

4. AI-generated content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate text and analyze images. You are responsible for the prompts you submit, for verifying the accuracy of any output before publishing it, and for ensuring you have the rights to any content (including photos and reviews) you upload. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific use; Local AI Toolbelt is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice.

You retain ownership of your inputs. As between you and Local AI Toolbelt, outputs you generate through your account belong to you, subject to these Terms. We may remove, restrict, or refuse to generate content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law, and we may suspend accounts engaged in repeated infringement.

5. Your account and content

You must provide accurate information and keep it current, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You grant Local AI Toolbelt a limited license to host and process the content you submit solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. Intellectual property

Local AI Toolbelt, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Laura Cruz and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan and these Terms.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may retain backups for a reasonable period before deletion.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Local AI Toolbelt's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Laura Cruz harmless from claims arising out of the content you submit, your use of outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your unlawful use of the Service.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Laura Cruz is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
